An excellent opportunity has arisen at an innovative West London IT Solutions Provider for a Bilingual Applications Support Engineer with a background in Customer Service. This challenging but highly rewarding role will involve a significant amount of travelling within a close-knit support team to meet customers in the UK or EMEA, as well as providing accurate and creative technical solutions to IT problems. Would-be employees need to possess 2-3 years experience with complex customer-facing technical support, as well as exposure to programming languages. Familiarity with Lotus Notes, Citrix, Web Servers and MSExchange would be advantageous, but not essential. English must be spoken to a fluent level, and real fluency in a second language (especially German or Dutch, but also Polish, Spanish or Italian) is a key requirement due to the international nature of the team's operations. Because of the amount of travelling and the size of the support team, the role demands a motivated team player with superb communication skills and an ability to get on with people.
