My client a major player in the chemical and rail network industry requires a Head of Outbound Logistics.

As a Head of Outbond Logistics you are responsible to lead and supervise all tasks of employees functional and team lead.

Customer satisfaction clients companies. Program and Release Management for SAP implementation/enhancement projects at clients SAP companies. Fulfill SAP Service Level Agreement. Cooperate with the Business Project Manager. Support defining project request and obtaining approval.

Plan and supervise IT part of project (deliverables, schedule, budget). Manage day-to-day IT project activities e.g. Lead regular IT project team meetings, maintain open issue list. Lead and coach IT project team members e.g. for designing and realizing solutions.

Use defined methodologies and tools. Manage internal & external consultants. Participate at steering committee meetings. Manage important SAP projects.

Technical Expertise:
Experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions. Conceptual knowledge of SAP customizing. SAP Modules SD, LE, WM (incl Interface to third party systems). SAP LES & EDI (Crossgate).

Methodology:
Experience in project methodologies. Experience in SAP implementation procedures (test, documentation, data migration, training). Experience with the change management process in a template environment.

Abilities:
Leadership qualities. Structured approach and communication skills. Global thinking and customer orientation. Mobility (up to 30%) and fluent English & German.
