My global leading software development company, cash rich, with offices in over 25 countries are expanding and are looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in Chesterfield. The role of Business Analyst is key to their software development process to bridge the gap between the business needs and the solution. You will be responsible for the analysis and definition of requirements and you will work with regional sales units, customers, Product Managers and Architects to establish detailed requirements. You will also produce fit for purpose documentation (specs, storyboards etc) for product development activities e.g architectural design, development, test etc.

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
EXPERIENCE OF PLANT OPERATIONS, PROCESS/POWER/NUCLEAR PLANT WITHIN THE OWNER OPERATOR INDUSTRY BUT WITHIN A SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT - NECESSARY
Business Analysis using formal analysis techniques, preferably Rational
Involvement in Software development including complex enterprise applications, preferably using RUP
Ability to contribute to and evaluate the architectural design
Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce specifications.
