Principal Accountabilities:

· To identify procurement requirements covering System Integration, IT & Business Consultancy for the client in conjunction with the business strategy.

· Negotiate and obtain agreement to the optimum procurement strategy for the business.

· To carry out the agreed procurement strategy in a timely and professional manner and recommend the award proposal to the business.

· To ensure that all procurement is carried out in an ethical and controlled manner in line with procurement policy.

· To generate and record savings for the company by effective procurement.

· To identify synergy gains throughout the Group.

· To identify improvement areas that will reduce overall client costs.

· Assist with the ongoing review of Procurement practices and procedures.

· Adhoc project work.



Nature and Scope

· Work with the Business to reduce costs of services through effective procurement.

· Ensure that procurement is controlled commensurate with risk by continuous challenge.

· Identifying savings opportunities and monitoring actual savings against plan.

· Developing an effective supplier base & strategies to ensure quality in both product and work and competitive pricing.

· Understand and communicate complex business processes and procedures.

Skill and Experience

· CIPS Qualified

· Experience IT, Consultancy procurement experience

· Experience in negotiating high value / strategic agreements

· Strong knowledge of Bid Process Management including supplier sourcing, documentation, evaluation and selection

· Strong understanding of contract and commercial law

· Stakeholder Management

· Analytical

Knowledge of Application Maintenance
