A Housing Application support Officer and Business Analyst is needed by our FTSE 100 client based in Birmingham. The role is predominantly focused (75%) on Application Support of the Northgate Housing Software and the other 25 % is focused on business analysis; focused on analysis data and writing documentation to enhance the system.

Ideally the candidates applying for this role must be very technically focused an should have experience with a housing application tool; this includes but is not limited to Northgate, Academy, Orchard, Anite, Aereon QL, IBS Open Housing an Civica Universal.

The product that the successful candidate will actually be supporting will be Northgate Housing.

•You will be required to carry out a diverse range of challenging duties in order to meet specified service level targets and customer requirements.

•To be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and support for a IT relating to a specific Housing business area
•To have knowledge of and implement a range of procedures e.g. ITIL/ISO20000, Release Management, IT Security, change management, risk assessment, project management standards
•To maintain specialist Housing and Northgate System
•To gather and analyse data to prepare recommendations, reports and proposals
•To carry out design, configuration, testing and documentation of enhancements and system interfaces as required
•Provide input to Steering and Management Groups as appropriate, in order to build a strong and collaborative working relationship between partners
•Assist Housing to make the best use of IS/IT in supporting its development agenda
•The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will have an excellent knowledge of Local Government Housing processes. Experience of delivering integrated business solutions using the Northgate Housing Application or equivalent is highly desirable. Knowledge of ISO20000 and ITIL would be an advantage.

•Experience of problem investigation / resolution and area of impact.
