Largest BPO is looking for a SQL Support Analyst to take responsibility of the Infrastructure Support Analyst is to support the Infrastructure environment for contracts. This will include responding to support calls from users, fixing faults, maintain / utilise policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the Customer databases.

Diagnosing support calls and entering accurate details into their Call Logging System
3rd line Support
Monitoring calls and ensuring SLAs are adhered to
Resolving cases to user/business satisfaction ensuring user is informed of progress
Being aware of and following processes at all times

Working on Server based and other projects
Performing system changes and enhancements as required following the change control process
Assisting in documentation as required
Assisting with testing as required

• Create database objects and maintain their physical organisation/relationships.

• Ensure that the application, and any enhancements, interacts efficiently with the database.

• Develop and implement database performance monitoring process and analyse monitoring data for performance optimisation opportunities.

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience as a Database Administrator for MSSQL or Sybase

• Solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedure
