Cisco CCNA Network Analyst / Telecoms Analyst is sought for my Client in Poole, Dorset. A Cisco qualified CCNA Network Analyst / Telecommunications Analyst is sought to work on providing voice and data technical support services. As such we are seeking a qualified Cisco specialist with a proven track record in voice and data communications. This person should have Cisco Data switch / router configuration as well as Qos experience. You should also have experience with IP telephony and Nortel / Meridian PBX programming experience. This role could be handled by someone who is currently a Network Specialist, Comms Technical Support professional, Voice & Data Specialist or WAN Technical Support Engineer. It is a challenging position duties including: • Responsible for the day-to-day support and operation of all local and wide area data networks, ensuring that each application receives the bandwidth required to deliver a quality service. • Responsible for the day-to-day support and operation of the converged IP Telephony system and its non-converged voice telephone systems. • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the voice and network security policies and measures deployed at all sites. • Responsible for day-to-day support and operation of Internet connections, firewalls, demilitarised zones, ISP relationships etc as well as being responsible for day-to-day support and operation of Internet VPN and dial-up networking services for remote access to email and central systems. • Programming the routers, data switches, converged IP telephone systems, non-converged IP telephone systems, firewalls and load-balancers when adds, moves and changes are required. This may involve some out-of-hours work. • Ensuring that Voice & Data service level agreements are met as defined. This will include liaising with users and the Telecommunications companies when progressing new services, relocating services, faults and replacements.
