We are seeking an experienced developer with demonstrable experience in constructing businesses critical & complex financial models in Excel for Front Office and/or Research functions. They should have solid physical design and coding skills and be conversant with providing robust solutions in Excel, VBA and also Access. Experience in C# is also desirable.



A good knowledge of financial markets and the relationship between Front and Back Office functions is expected.



The work offers full lifecycle development including working closely with the users. The role offers variety, autonomy and responsibility with an opportunity to expand knowledge and experience.

Successful candidates will possess good analytical, problem management and interpersonal skills, and be able to work successfully under pressure. He or she must be dedicated to the tasks undertaken and be committed to providing a reliable and efficient service to the users. They should be able to demonstrate a structured approach to work as well as being able to work effectively within a project team and deal with people professionally at all levels. They must have excellent customer facing skills for liaison with users.



Candidates should have a good understanding of financial markets, software engineering and development lifecycles.







Essential Experience



A solid background of at least 5 years in development is required, within which we would expect a minimum of 4 year's experience with Excel/VBA. The successful candidates will have a proven track record in team-based development within a highly professional environment.
