MUNICH - MUST Speak GERMAN

I am currently looking for an IT Desktop Support Analyst for my Munich based client. You will need the ability to deliver a high quality service to our business. The role is highly visible, customer facing and very busy. Applicants MUST speak German

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide 2nd level support for IT & systems issues.
•Define & document support procedures.
•Build & deploy IT desktop equipment (Windows based desktops and laptops)
•Configure and deploy blackberry and mobile devices.
•Assist users with telephony issues.
•Maintain printing / faxing & scanning services.
•Assist in software rollouts and project / technology delivery.
•Ensure timely communication & resolution of issues to agreed SLA.
•Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with a variety of Applemac applications and Windows XP
•Liaison with key 3rd party suppliers and internal resolver groups when needed.
•Ability to use a Call Management system (Remedy).
•Provide reports on customer service issues, trend analysis, problem management
•Provide solid customer support for our MAC user base across the UK and EMEA


Requirements:

•Minimum 2 years solid experience of Mac OS X, OS X server
•3 years solid experience in end user support with Windows XP
•and MSOffice XP desktop.
•Ability to use a call management system (Remedy)
•3 years minimum Lotus Notes Experience
•Excellent skills in building rapport/communication with colleagues of all levels
•Citrix and or NFuse knowledge
•Knowledge of video conference systems, IP or ISDN
•Good knowledge of LAN
•Able to travel within Europe
•Ability to converse in regional language and English
•Building and Configuration of Desktops (HP) / Laptops (Toshiba)
•Building and Configuration of Applemac systems
•Blackberry/ mobile phones
•Active Directory
•Centralised printing systems
•Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility inc. shift and out of hours working
•Show initiative when dealing with problems
•Ability to prioritise workload
•Excellent customer facing skills
•Must be highly motivated with the ability to assimilate and learn new technologies
