Customer Service & Sales Admin
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties will be to assist the Sales Office Supervisor in the day-to-day sales administration within the Company, with particular reference to:
Providing excellent customer service when handling UK and overseas enquiries, queries, orders and sales from customers both in the UK & Overseas via email, telephone, fax and in person.
Responsibility for the Sales Counter, dealing with customer sales and enquiries, issuing Sales Invoices etc.
Dealing with carrier & shipping Companies in relation to customer orders.
Using the in-house invoicing & parts computer programme.
Creating & maintaining office files, spreadsheets and databases.
Additional Duties include:
Undertaking duties & responsibilities of the Sales Team Leader during holidays and other absences.
General clerical and IT duties as required by the Companys Directors together with any other requirements associated with this post.
REQUIREMENTS
Friendly, enthusiastic & polite telephone manner & ability to deal with a wide variety of customers
Organised and efficient with good attention to detail
Good level of literacy, with neat, legible hand-writing
Self-starter, ability to use own initiative
Computer literate; familiar with internet & email: MS Word, Outlook Express (or ability to learn quickly!)
Ability to work well under pressure in a small team and in presence of customers
Knowledge of, or interest in cars helpful but not essential (will need to learn list of 40+ makes & models)
Motivated, with a sense of humour to help you through the stressful times

Flexibility with hours to cover holidays & sickness
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Hours:
Mon Fri 8:30am 2:00pm,
Saturdays alternate (when experienced enough; negotiable/flexible) 9:00am 1:00pm
