BEST INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER/CLAS ROLE IN THE NORTHWEST – PLEASE READ ON!

Are you a high-end, heavy weight IT Security Manager in the NW looking for a move? I'm a security specialist recruiter looking to make contact with some talent in the North-West UK, with experience of heading up large operational IT Security function within a large business unit. CLAS would be an ideal certification! This is a client facing role, so consultantcy background would be more than ideal.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing diverse areas within your remit, including both technical and non-technical teams, including some in other locations including offshore.

Your remit will cover some technical disciplines, investigating data breaches and loss, as well as the more standard engineering teams. There is also a large emphasis on compliance within the organisation, so personal experience of implementing and up keeping 27001, 7799 will be invaluable.

The role would suit someone with the gravitas and seniority to imply a “single point of contact” for all associated issues within the organisation, including some of a highly sensitive political nature. An ideal background would be either financial or utilities.
