Clincal coding manager is required to Supervision of a small clinical coding team and to reach achievement of clinical coding targets in completeness, timeliness and accuracy. You will be assisting in training and mentoring of new staff, and be responsible for promoting coder/ clinician liaison. You should have extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. A thorough knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS4 clinical coding classifications. Significant clinical coding experience in a wide range of specialties. Experience of multi-task working. Experience of delivering to tight deadlines. Experience in supervision of staff. Experience in assisting with clinical coding audits. Experience in implementation of policy and procedure changes.
