LINUX/DNS/TCP/IP/DHCP/LDAP/SAMBA/PROXY/FTP/FIREWALLS

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Linux Administrator to join a fantastic company.

The role will require the candidate to provide a customer focused second and third line infrastructure support service that resolves technical issues and delivers technical projects to the customer's satisfaction.

The individual will be multi skilled and give assistance to other members of the small but tightly knit team.

The skills
Key technical requirements - Proven experience in the following:

• LINUX Operating System Administration Experience Essential
• Good shell scripting skills
• Knowledge of Storage Technologies such as NAS, Netapp experience an advantage
• Knowledge of Networking Technologies, Subneting and routing.
• Good technical knowledge of DNS / TCP/IP / DHCP
• Knowledge of industry wide technologies such as LDAP / SAMBA / PROXY / FTP, FIREWALLS
• Ability to maintain a strategic as well as day to day technical approach to activities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Team player but with the ability to work alone as required
• Ability to keep abreast of market developments and impacts upon immediate domain
• A focus on customer service
• Previous technical experience in an infrastructure / systems administration capacity.
• Desirable - Information Technology Degree or HND
