Oracle DBA - Defence - Hook

Our client is looking for and experienced Oracle DBA to be based in Hook to help with development and production of a command support system. Due to the nature of this role current and active SC clearance is essential or the ability to gain it. You will control and manage database configurations in development, test and production environments and be involved with the provision of database support to the development and test environments also managing the changes to DB schemas. You will also be resolving performance and capability issues within Oracle Databases.

You will have a strong background as an Oracle DBA, desirably 10g and experience of the full software development lifecycle as well as supporting Oracle databases running on a Unix platform, desirable Solaris and experience of Database design. You will also have some familiarity with Database Tuning techniques.
