With the largest IT Projects in the UK under their belt and the reputation as a firm leader, this FTSE100 Organisation are expanding and have a role for an experienced HOUSING APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST to join a major team. You will be very involved in DOCUMENTATION and problem solving and MUST have Housing Business processes experience within IT or Housing IT Knowledge. Ideally you will have worked with NORTHGATE, or a similar LOCAL HOUSING System. This is a busy and dynamic area where you will carry out a diverse range of challenging duties, provide leadership and analysis, specialist techniques, and support to specific services to agreed standards and performance measures You will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and support for all IT relating to a specific Housing business area To have knowledge of and implement a range of procedures e.g. ITIL/ISO20000, Release Management, IT Security, change management, risk assessment, project management standards To maintain specialist Housing and Northgate System There is a BUSINESS ANALYSIS slant to this role so you should have good documentation skills You will work with development functions to deliver Business Transformation project interfaces and developments thus ensuring there is a managed and smooth handover between project and support To assist in the management of the Housing Application Support function The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will have an excellent knowledge of Local Government Housing processes. Experience of delivering integrated business solutions using the Northgate Housing Application or equivalent is highly desirable. Knowledge of ISO20000 and ITIL would be an advantage. Essential Experience/Skills knowledge of Software development processes Strong decision making, problem analysis & solving skills Excellent communication skills Housing Applications/Process background Experience of ISO20000 or ITIL Proactively taking measures to avoid the reoccurrence of complex or disruptive faults Management of the resolution and diagnosis of problems Experience of using Microsoft Office Products Demonstrate an understanding of the equality agenda within the business area. Experience of providing Application Support and development in a busy and diverse environment to recognised professional standards e.g. ITIL/ISO20000, System Development, Testing and Documentation High level of knowledge of all aspects of Local Housing Processes A good understanding of Northgate Housing System An appreciation for the need for good Customer Care Experience of problem investigation / resolution and area of impact. An understanding of KPI's and their components An understanding of data protection and its implications for email and database access Ability to communicate both orally and in writing at all levels including senior customer and supplier
