Infrastructure Leader – Comms Infrastructure Leader Network Systems and Solutions

One of the UKs leading FTSE 100 organisations is looking to recruit an IT Senior Infrastructure Engineer.

You will manage provide second & third line support to end users, troubleshoot and resolve problems, deal with change requests and manage infrastructure related installation projects, whilst acting as a project team member in large IT related projects.

Responsibilities Include:-
•Provision of Second and Third Line Support for Network Systems & Solutions
•To assess, own and implement changes to the Network & Security infrastructure
•Participation in Project work as required..

This is an exciting opportunity to come to the market. If you are interested in this position you should be familiar and comfortable with Comms solutions for both voice and data networks, therefore the following would be beneficial;

•Cisco LAN/WAN products & services including Cisco PIX Firewalls
•Checkpoint Firewall-1 & UTM-1 installations
•Nokia IP Security Appliances
•ISS Siteprotector & Proventia appliances
•F5 BigIP LTM Appliances
•Juniper Neoteris SSL VPN
•Good working knowledge of Telephony cabling systems
Good working knowledge of Telephony Carrier services.
•Experience of working with and managing third-party suppliers, including provision, support, and escalations.
•Avaya Multivantage IP Telephony systems

A CCNA qualification or similar would also be ideal.

The role is based in London, near Liverpool Street although you will be required to travel to other sites across England.
