C#/VB.NET/ASP.NET Developer - Web - Peterborough, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire, Northampton - .NET 3.5/R&D/Silverlight

My client is a nationally recognised institution and they are urgently looking to add a talented and experienced C#/ASP.NET Software Developer to their rapidly expanding team of technologists.

The successful C#/ASP.NET Software Developer will have strong commercial exposure developing web based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio 2005/2008, and SQL Server 2000/2005 for the back end database. Knowledge of CSS, HTML, XML and XHTML in addition to Object Oriented Programming experience is also required. Any exposure to other development technologies such as VB/VB.NET, C/C++, Java, AJAX or Silverlight would be beneficial but not strictly essential. Exposure to the .NET 3.5 framework would also be beneficial.

Using your experience of the development of web/software solutions you will work amongst a team of dynamic designers and developers focused on the development and evaluation of new technologies and innovative greenfield projects using a combination of the technologies listed above. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to grow into more senior positions
