Support Analyst - 2nd Line/Bug fixing/Application changes/ASP.NET/VB.NET/C# - Blue Chip FTSE 100 Consultancy - Derby, Nottingham, Staffordshire, Derbyshire - Microsoft
My client is a FTSE 100 organisation specialising in the provison of software and consultancy to a wide range of public and private sector blue chip companies. They are urgently looking to add an experienced and enthusiastic Support Analyst to their formidable technology team.
The successful Support Analyst will have experience of working in a structured application support role with exposure to formal change, configuration and release management processes. Previous experience of ASP.NET support (VB.NET) is also required in addition to MS SQL 2000/2005 or above fundamentals. An analytical approach to testing, debugging and problem solving coupled with excellent communication skills is also essential.
If you have any knowledge of C# or experience of supporting Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 solutions or exposure to ITIL this would be highly advantageous but not essential.
The role will require the successful Support Analyst to support call management and resolution coupled with the development and deployment of application changes, fixes and utilities. You will be presented with opportunities to gow within the business into a full development role or to conitnue in a more senior support position.
