Project Officer - Coventry - 6 Month Contract
Key deliverables
•Assist with the development and scoping of project PIDs
•Assist with the monitoring and updating of project paperwork, including budget reports
•Support the development and organisation of Sharepoint and knowledge sharing processes, and maintain/organise relevant project files within Sharepoint
•Support the development of tender documentation and contract agreement forms for consultants and liaise with our clients internal procurement team to ensure correct procedures are followed
•Communicate with external parties (consultants, Government departments, stakeholders) using discretion and demonstrating appropriate awareness of political and confidential issues
•Participate in FE, Regeneration and Delivery project and programme meetings, coordinating communications and the development of board papers
•Liaise with other directorate colleagues to ensure coherent approach
Mandatory skills/knowledge
•Knowledge of PRINCE2, project planning, progress reporting and RAID management.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
•Resourceful, full of initiative and good at problem solving, especially in difficult situations
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Strong organisational skills and able to work on a number of projects at any one time.
