Top FTSE 100 company is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to be based at their West Malling site.

Responsible for providing technical support to both designated Corporate and outsourced customers. Also taking responsibility for monitoring the progress of faults and for the subsequent fault management in order to meet both the agreed SLA's and achieve customer satisfaction.
To own all Security related technical support activities and to ensure that the relevant internal departments and third parties to meet the technical service level agreements.
Responsible for maintaining auditable working practices and operational procedures in order to meet the customers' needs.
Develop a full understanding of the customer's applications and technical solutions, thereby acting as the technical operations design authority for the customer's services and as the customers' single point of contact for change management.
Maintain an up to date record of network diagrams, inventory databases and equipment specifications related to the customer's services.
Act as the implementation control resource for network technical feasibility studies provide the planning function and project management during the implementation of project engineering work, and co-ordinate and manage equipment upgrade, retrofit and routine maintenance programmes.
Work with Project Managers and third party suppliers during the design approval, installation and commissioning phases of major projects to ensure customer design and operational procedures are compatible and sustainable with the service being delivered.

Essential Skills
Cisco CCNA/CCDA
Checkpoint CCSA
Experience of several firewall technologies. Must have been involved in design and implementation VPN Technologies and Encryption.
Written excellent technical documentation
Excellent communication and customer facing skills
Hand on technical experience in the following technologies:-
Cisco routers and switches
Technical experience with Checkpoint, PIX and Netscreen Firewalls A good understanding of security policy implementation
Knowledge of IGP routing protocols

Must be able to obtain SC clearance, must have 5 years UK residency
