Oracle Developer required to work for FTSE 100 company based in Liverpool

Main duties
The Application Developer is responsible for delivering software that meets the needs of the customer and is delivered to agreed quality standards and timescales

The Ideal candidate will have worked within a Government environment in the last 12 months


•Undertake design, development and delivery of an enterprise level application.
. Upgrade current systems, inputting new extensions and parts
. Develop new modules for existing systems
•Understand the business requirements of an application to ensure that the technical delivery is a best fit for the customer business.
•Assist in Impact assessments Requests For Change and provide estimates for development and delivery.
•Work alongside other teams in the provision of a single seamless application service to the customer.
•Produce and have a mature approach to documentation and distribution of knowledge.
•Ensure that quality control and quality assurance procedures are performed in accordance with development standards.

Essential Skills
Oracle 8.i,9i
PL/SQL
Educated to HND/Degree level.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Open minded, self motivated and have a ‘can do' attitude.
Adaptable and flexible to meet workload demands.
Practical and well organised
Proven ability to acquire new skills and working in a rapid-change
environment.
Applicant will require eligibility for BC security clearance.
