Programme Support Manager / Project Manager is required by our Crawley, West Sussex based client to play a key role in the introduction and streamlining of project management standards, processes and administrative functions across numerous business units. Taking a pragmatic approach, this role requires you to be commercially aware, have strong change management skills and the ability to become involved in resource planning, managing a changing structure as well as occasional project management of software development projects as work loads and business pressures allow.
With excellent communication skills, you will have proven experience of being a Programme Manager / Project Manager with experience of large scale systems development and integration projects. This could included systems implementations, roll-outs etc and would have been gained in a software house, consultancy or TPA environment. You will have proven experience in executing strategic operational change / transformation management programmes with experience in managing senior client stakeholders and suppliers. You would also have had P&L responsibility for Programmes of at least £2M (ideally up to £10M).
Naturally, strong MS Project experience is essential for the role. Prince 2 experience and certification is desirable but is not essential. Experience in the Pensions or Financial Services industry is also desirable but is not essential
