Key skills:
• Prince 2 Practitioner
• MS-Project (pref 2003)
• Solid track record of delivery of Web development projects such as Portals, intranets, onsite/mobile service, CMS and CRM.
• Background in delivering in web environment preferably J2EE / JBOSS / Oracle.
• Standard office tools

Key tasks:
To scope, plan, manage and deliver IS & IS/Business projects within the Well Life arena ensuring successful delivery of quality products to the business on time and within budget.

This role is to work within the Programme to establish a project structure around the IS elements, to enable appropriately authorised projects to be progressed in accordance with governance rules, to build collaborative relationships with the business to manage their expectations with excellence and ultimately deliver quality products on time, to scope and to budget.

Key Accountabilities
•Identification of project scope, structure and formulation of plans including deliverables, costs, development and implementation of systems in line with the web Architecture (BWA) and IS Strategy, Prince 2 and development methodology.
•The identification, planning and management of the development of both the onshore and offshore work for each project ensuring the implementation of effective communication processes for efficient and effective delivery
•The integration of activities with on and offshore development teams, the business users, Business Systems and other IS departments with particular emphasis on the implementation and integration process.
•The management and leadership of project teams, planning, designing, and implementing quality systems solutions on time and within budget.
•Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Web Architecture and IS Standards and Methodologies to ensure quality of development processes and solutions.
•The management and leadership of permanent or contract direct reports to ensure their commitment, performance, technical and career development.
•The development of effective working relationships with colleagues across IS and the business to gain their commitment, support and resource to deliver project work.
•To proactively contribute to leading the development of the IS organisation.
•To hand over systems with the appropriate documentation to Web Support and successful post implementation support and IT Services for live operations.
•Ensure the implementation of Prince 2 into Group IS is a transparent exercise for the business and ensure a good experience for them.
