Software Engineer ( C, C++, Embedded ) – Essex required.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer in Cambridge/Essex, to join an established technology driven organisation. You will need solid knowledge of C and C++ programming. Exposure to GUI design, communication protocols, real-time embedded software development and CVS is beneficial.

This role will suit someone who is looking for a fresh challenge as a software engineer within a very successful company.

Essentially, this development position utilising programming languages C and C++.

The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software product life cycle including concept generation, specification, design, implementation, integration, test and in-service support. This will include working with real-time operating systems, graphical interfaces, off the shelf high-technology sub-systems as well as in-house processor driven boards. You should be able to demonstrate an ability to learn quickly so that you can contribute as soon as possible to the Software and Integration teams. Some travel within the UK and overseas will be expected.
