Senior Technical Services Engineer – Chelsea / South West London. My client an expanding successful Chelsea / Fulham / Kensington based Microsoft Gold Partner is seeking Senior Technical Services Engineer / Senior Network Engineer with Technical Project Management experience to provide technical expertise to a team of enthusiastic Senior Technical Services Engineer / Network Engineers / Field based Engineers / 2/3rd Line support Engineers. Are you able to demonstrate a wide range of competencies and proven success in IT Operations, Team Management, Service Delivery and Project Management? The team typically provides 2/3rd Line support as well as field based support. Projects mainly consist of technologies such as; Windows Server 2000 / 2003 & Desktop, Active Directory, MS Exchange 2003 / 2007, Mac, Hardware, Windows Server and Virtualisations technologies etc. Required experience: • Experience in being an escalation point for 2/3rd Line support and Field Service Team. • Proven team leading, people management and strong leadership skills, ideally including the management of remote / field based staff • Evaluate, propose and manage technology initiatives that would improve technical support services & IT operations. • Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, ITIL or Prince 2 would be advantageous but not essential • Ideally familiar with relevant industry best practices and standards such as ITIL. • Experience of remote tools for Cisco support; Group Policy administration; VOIP support; Windows Vista; Mac support & general networking issues Salary for this Microsoft Gold Partner Senior Technical Services Engineer / Senior Network Engineer / Technical Project Manager Chelsea / Fulham / South West London based position is £40,000 - £45,000.
