Unix, Linux, Systems administrator, Red hat, HP, SAN , VMware, Hertfordshire Linux Systems Administrator is required to join a large busy IT department based on the North London / Hertfordshire boarders. You will join a team of Unix systems Administrators who are responsible for maintaining and developing their Red hat Enterprise Linux servers and SAN infrastructure,providing support to in-house developers and maintaining the company’s Disaster recovery systems and planning. It is essential that you have good experience of Linux Systems Administration (preferably with Red Hat), Perl and Shell Scripting and Open Source software tools. In addition to the above skills any experience of HP servers, VMware and EVA San Storage would be advantageous as would RHCE / RHCT certification. The unix team support multiple sites within Borehamwood so it’s essential that you have a full driving licence and own a car and are flexible to work across all locations and on shifts between the hours of 8 -6 pm Monday to Friday.
