A software team leader is required with a range of technical skills including C# / VC++ / Active X / ODBC / VB / ASP.NET / Javascript to lead a small team of software engineers delivering software solutions to support the UK business in terms of engineering and knowledge management tools that improve the effectiveness of tendering, engineering and servicing the solutions. The software is likely to be targeted at solutions in the area of tools and processes to support system engineering activities (these developments would typically use underlying technologies is SQL server, VB, Visual C++, C#, ODBC, ActiveX/COM and Web technologies – HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, ASP, .NET etc). The development process will involve close co-operation with other team members, both in Rugby and abroad. Some short periods of foreign travel may be necessary to discuss and resolve development issues within the various development teams.
