3rd Line Support Engineer – Victoria – 3 months intially
Maintain an effective and secure IT infrastructure which meets TDA current and foreseeable business needs;
Respond to the needs of the service as identified by users and assist with production of user development programmes.
The team member will work as part of a small team responsible for managing the TDA's Information Technology systems. Reporting to the Senior Team member of the team
Dealing with Information Technology Systems within the TDA by,

Maintenance of cisco switches;
Installation and Supporting of servers;
Installation, configuration of server backups;
Configuration of desktop PC's;
providing 3rd line support for software applications;
liaison with suppliers for hardware/software faults;
investigating and placing orders,(under the direction of team leader) for software and hardware requirements;
dealing with day to day related server matters;
Provide 3rd line support for network copiers/printers and phone system;
Installation of other internal agency wide projects
Essential:
Exceptional IT knowledge including at least 3 years experience of the following:

Installing, Configuring & Maintaining Windows NT4/2000/2003 Servers, MS Exchange 2000/2003, Microsoft SQL Server & Windows 2000/XP. Including all aspects of Active Directory, Group Policies, DHCP & DNS.
Firewall Configuration inc Software VPN Clients
ISA04 Server Configuration
Network Protocols including: TCP/IP, Wireless Protocols (802.11b&g), 802.1q, xDSL Services
MS Office(including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) inc unattended installs, MS Outlook, MS Project 2002, Internet Explorer
Installing and Securing IIS5&6 for Web based applications including OWA.
