Data Migration Consultant - Oracle, PL/SQL - Good Client Facing skills needed - North West

Long established national software provider who is adding to their busy team are keen to take on a talented & experienced Data Migration Consultant to conduct the migration process of data from legacy systems into Oracle databases upon which their market leading multi-tiered software are based on. This is a client-facing role across the full lifecycle, from the point of formulating and agreeing the specification for the migration process, to writing the required software for the migration and executing over a series of iterations/customer testing.

Successful Oracle Data Migration/Developer applicants will have strong experience with Oracle, PLSQL/SQL (on Unix or Windows) with advanced knowledge of Oracle Data Structures, previous migration experience and at least experience of two projects of mapping and migrating complex data from foreign systems into Oracle RDBMS. Any experience of installing and configuring bespoke software is advantageous. Strong Career possibilities to move into consultancy or another area of development / Technical Design.
