NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEERS PLEASE READ THIS ROLE! BEST HERE!

I'm a security specialist recruiter looking to make contact with some talented and dedicated network security engineers, looking for a move.

I'm looking for potential additions to one of the biggest and best managed service teams in the UK, with involvment in so many infrastructures it would make your eyes water :-)

The right kind of body will have between 2-4 years of experience, with firewall techologies such as Checkpoint, PIX or Netscreen, and very strong network skills. You'll preferably have multi-OS skills, with LINUX in particular, as a secure platform for firewall and IDS application.

You'll also need skills in basic network servers like FTP, strong routing and switching skills, and an MCSE or CCNA. The main bulk of the role is operational change request and monitoring network outages and resolving complex techical issues by remote means.

The biggest and most important skill the right candidate will have is a fantastic level of communication, and the right can-do attitude.

The role WILL involve shift work, for which there is an additional allowance made. This is a fair shift pattern and will give you a lot of free time.
