These roles offer the chance to join a development programme and work through different phases of the software project lifecycle. There will also be the opportunity to become involved in the early bid phases of the new programmes too! As a Software Development Engineer you will join the Software Development Group and be responsible for the technical design, implementation, integration, test and support of military software applications. The roles require the generation of rapid S/W prototypes and then their subsequent transition into fully supported products. The development engineer will work with other members of the development group and be responsible for ensuring that their work adheres to the development quality processes and delivered in a timely manner. Typical skills we are looking for are C, C++, Embedded, UML, OOA/D, Software Design, Test, V&V. Candidate with a background in Electronics, Software Development, Computer Science or Physics will be considered!
