1st Level IT Helpdesk Support: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 1st Level IT Helpdesk Support specialist to work for a leading insurance company in Greenock (just outside Glasgow). The purpose of this role is to provide the 1st point of contact between the Business and IT Support, ensuring that there is minimum disruption to the business, implementing 1st time fix when possible. You will also use remote control tools to asist and resolve issues and provide desk side support where necessary.
The following experience is required:
- ITIL is preferred
- A good level of education
- Strong PC skills and
- Previous customer support experience
In addition to your technical skills, you will have strong interpersonal skills, be highly organised, self motivating and have the ability to work under pressure.
