My client is a leading organisation and has been established for over 12 years. They have over 5,000 customers worldwide and are at the forefront of technology. They are now looking to recruit a senior technical architect to join their expanding team.

This is a senior technical role within the company and requires an experienced individual that is able to bring their knowledge and expertise to help shape the future architecture of the application environment. You will be expected to lead the design effort for both the existing application suite and to help shape and architect the longer term strategic needs of the application and infrastructure base. You will have involvement at all stages of the software development lifecycle but with a clear focus on definition and ensuring that those designs are fit for purpose and aligned to the current and futuee architecture of the systems platform.

Scope of the role includes:
Requirements analysis, technical design, review and approval of all product design and definition of long term/next generation systems architecture.

Key skills required:
.NET development, web services, SQL SERVER essential
TCP & UDP, SOAP, GSM, GRPS & GPS all preferred.

You will have worked in a similar senior architectural role and have demonstrable in-depth experience of software development.
