This Market Leading Client requires a Database Manager based at their Heathrow site to assist in the implementation, population and maintenance of a modern, effective Oracle Database. The client has an application built on Oracle 10G running on a Windows 2003 server with a Tomcat server. There is a Java application as a data management front end. Main duties: To assist in planning the effective implementation of the Database. To take responsibility for establishing the UK Database content. The effective and accurate population the of the Database. Build and develop processes and procedures for amendment and maintenance of the Database. Participate in the implementation testing/data validation of the new Database. Skills:
Some experience in electronic publishing systems, FrameMaker, PageMaker or other DTP systems.A detailed knowledge of data management and data handling systems, processes and/or procedures in an aeronautical data quality management environment.Demonstrate experience of the development of Quality Assurance and Control procedures and processes to current regulatory and industry standards. The succesful candidate will ideally have experience within the Aviation Industry. Experience within Transport, Defence, Military Sectors will also be highly desirable but not essential.
