1st Line Support Analyst – Online Systems – London Keywords: Helpdesk support, On-line software, web and Win XP
A Brand new opportunity has arisen to work for a leading online company based in London. My client has an opening for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide 1st line with some 2nd line support within a Windows XP and web based environment.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience providing 1st line support, or working on a helpdesk for an organisation that has a large online presence. You shall be responsible for troubleshooting and supporting a Windows XP network, supporting systems software and the company's various websites. More complex issues can be escalated to 3rd line teams.
You shall ideally be familiar with call logging software such as Touchpaper and have knowledge of working towards SLA's. Knowledge of Win 2003 and Active Directory would be useful. Any candidates that also have exposure to SQL Server would be at an advantage, and qualifications such as MCP's or MCSE will again go in your favour.
Please note, this is not a straight forward IT support role, as we are looking for a candidate that can provide support for websites and web applications. This role will involve some shift work and also some on call for which there is an on call allowance.
