Web Developer - Senior - VB.NET/ASP.NET/.NET 3.5/WPF/WCF/Visual Studio 2008 - Peterborough - Global Industry Leader

My client is an industry leading nationally renowned organisation proiding a comprehensive suite of innovative software solutions for the advancement of the business. They are currently looking to add a talented and experienced VB.NET/ASP.NET Web Developer to their thriving web development team.

The successful VB.NET/ASP.NET Web Developer will ideally have extensive experience developing high level applications for large corporate busineses using VB.NET, ASP.NET, Object Oriented Programming, N-tier architecture and SQL Server 2005 database skills for the back end. A strong educational background would be preferable however this is not strictly essential. Any previous experience working with Content Management Systems and mentoring less experienced developers would be highly advantageous.

You will work on a number of my clients key core products, prinicipally on the .NET 2.0 framework, in addition to fresh greenfield projects making use of Visual Studio 2008 and its related technologies on the .NET 3.5 framework. Moreover, you will be able to demonstrate your leadership skills as you will be responsible for ensuring that all code is up to company standards and mentoring less experienced developers on the team. You will also receive training as and when required to enhance your skill set and business acumen should you wish.
