Deputy Head of Software Services – IT Business Manager – Application Support

A prestigious FTSE 100 company is looking for a Deputy Head of Software Services.

The Deputy Head of Software Services will be accountable for a department of 100 and will have 5 direct reports consisting of a QA Manager, a Test Manager, a Programme Manager, a Development Manager and a Senior Architect..

This is a unique and exciting opportunity that offers the chance to work across a high profile and well known businesses. The role will be based in Bedford although you may be required to travel dependent upon business need.

You will need;
•Experience of managing a large department
•Management of senior staff/ managers
•Exposure to working in a software house/ IT
•Excellent commercial acumen and a passion for driving the business at a strategic level.
