A prestigious FTSE 100 company is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a blue chip company on a large scale project.
This team leader role relies on the management of technicians delivering exceptional customer service and liaising between users and third parties to deliver desktop support within the local and regional desktop environments. The Team Leader Second Line Support will ensure the technicians carry out investigations into systems, respond to user incidents, install hardware and make appropriate adjustments and work to documented process and abide by all service desk policies
Essential Experience & Skills:
Manage resources in the Second Line Support team
Ensure the team follow procedures and processes at all times
Ensure SLA's are adhered to
Reporting to Infrastructure Manager
In depth Windows 2000 O/S with proven working knowledge of Active Directory
Proven working knowledge of Incident Management tools
Previous experience of Desktop or Helpdesk support
In depth Microsoft Office 2002
In depth Outlook 2002
Any understanding of the principles of ITIL would be desirable.
Ability to work under pressure
Good written and verbal communication as well as administration
Previous experience in a team leader role would be an advantage.
Security Clearance is essential for this role. Candidates must have or be prepared to undertake SC Level security clearance.
