Our investment banking client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join them. Candidates will need the following skills and experience: a recognised technical project manager with experience in a production environment, familiar with structured project methodology (PRINCE 2-base preferred), a sound technical understanding of mainstream technologies, able to deal with changing priorities and to manage multiple projects simultaneously, able to work in a matrix organisation for the duration of a project, working experience of a client /supplier relationship environment, working experience of an investment banking environment, articulate with ability to communicate at senior management level and exposure to PM reporting/tracking tools, such as Clarity.

The project manager is part of a team dedicated to servicing a specific business line and their main activity is to co-ordinate the delivery / sourcing of production infrastructure components from various suppliers. In this capacity, he/she must clearly identify the requirements of his/her clients, bring a suitable solution and manage its delivery according to the agreed budget and timetable. Regular and clear communications of progress and issues within the client organisation, the supplier chain and its managerial line are an essential part of the remit.
