Developer x 2, C++/MFC /Visual C++, Midlands, to £25k and £32k DOE

We are currently working exclusively on some excellent opportunities for Visual C++ Software Engineers with a leading provider of imaging software to the life sciences sector. They currently have opportunities for 2 new developers, one junior to £25k and one more senior to £32k.
The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, be able to work both individually and as part of a group, and relish the opportunity to work with a successful, highly motivated, award winning team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Delivering high-quality, high-performance C++ code on time and to specification
•Designing superb user interfaces for both Windows and Mac OS X
•Unit testing developed code
•Working on individual development projects
•Participating in extended development projects with the wider development team
•Following development procedures and guidelines
•Performing ongoing software maintenance
•Working with product managers and the technical support team throughout the software lifecycle.
Requirements
•Educated to a 2:1 standard or above in a computing or software degree
•2-5 years experience in one or more of:
1.C++
2.Object orientated design
3.User interface design
4.Windows MFC
5.Mac OS X
6.Image processing
7.OpenGL and 3D graphics

The emphasis is on end-user application software rather than in-house IT data/base application.
