Technical Author - Cheshire - acrobat, ms office, framemaker, webworks - up to 37k

My client are an exciting and dynamic software house and a market leader in the UK. Due to expansion they are looking for a technical author to join their successful team.

The technical author will contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the companies training materials and technical publications. Combining excellent communication skills with technical acumen and a keen eye for detail, you will be involved in all aspects of the documentation lifecycle and work in close collaboration with product experts in the relevant departments of the company. Your technical skills and interests should be sufficient to enable a significant level of self driven content discovery through direct analysis of the software products, in combination with interview of product experts.

The ideal technical author will have strong skills in:
- Framework
- Web works
- Acrobat
- Microsoft Office
Other skills of benefit include: paintshop pro, illustrator and VMWare. You must have a recent portfolio of work to demonstrate your skills and experience in the field.
