Business Analyst / Project Manager, Workflow Systems, Slough, to 38K + CA
Leading solutions provider seeks to recruit a Business Analyst/Project Manager. Reporting to the Professional Services Manager, you will be responsible for delivering professional training courses on their suite of business application, and developing and updating appropriate training materials.

The Business Analyst / Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full project life cycle relating to successful implementation of Client Server solutions. This will involve working closely with customers to define their requirements and turn these into agreed functional specification, systems configuration and installation, technical training and project closure. Technical support, troubleshooting, system testing and providing pre-sales support to the Sales Team are also part of the overall job responsibilities.
You will work in our client's UK Office and will be required to travel throughout the UK, Europe and on occasion world wide in support of their role.
Experience Required: *Degree or equivalent experience in IT or some applicable business or technical discipline. *At least 3 years experience in a similar role installing small to medium sized Client Server systems. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to the Document Management market place. *At least 2 years experience in successfully managing technology projects through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support. *Experience of on-site support and troubleshooting problems involving multiple systems and technologies on a range of platforms. *Experience of analysing and documenting system and business requirements.
Plus strong working knowledge of: *Windows Server Technologies incl. 2000 & Server 2003 *Windows Client Technologies incl. 2000, XP & Vista *Web Server Technologies, in particular IIS 5.0 and 6.0 *Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 incl. T-SQL & Reporting Services *Microsoft .NET Technolgy *Active Directory Arcture *Networks, in particularly TCP/IP *SCSI and RAID based Storage Devices *Microsoft Office 2000, XP, 2003 & 2007 *Conceptual understanding of SOAP and XML *Kofax Ascent Capture 4.0 & above an advantage *Exposure to Document Management and workflow would be a distinct advantage.
