IT Systems Manager (Server/Networks/Telephony) - Brimingham (Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Citrix)

Our growing client is in urgent need of a IT Systems/Infrastructure lead to take control of their server and system responsibilities. The successful Infrastructure manager will be responsible for managing the systems, servers and telecoms used to deliver our internet-based 24 / 7 service. You will improve the resilience of service. develop/test continuity plans, provide high standard documentation and support the office networks.

The successful IT Systems Manager will have a solid academic background and will need experience in Building and deploying new servers and systems (PCs, etc). This is a strategic, yet hands-on role to manage, support and improve the company's Business Critical and office-based IT and Telecoms Systems. In addition you will manage out of hours work and the on-call rota system as well. Skills include: Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, IIS, Exchange, SQL Server, Citrix, TCP/IP, DNS, routers, etc. Any Cisco or ISDN exposure will be a bonus.

In order to fulfil this challenging and demanding role you will need to be self-motivated and be willing to work fairly autonomously. This is initially a hands-on position with strategic responsibilities, but as the role progress and the business you will build a systems team around you and take a more strategic and less hands-on position.
