This very well established company operating within the telephony arena are now looking to recruit an experienced 1st / 2nd Line Helpdesk and Network Support Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leader in their field and work with some very exciting prospects. The role will take responsibility for providing professional 1st to 3rd line support against predefined service level agreements. Day to day you take responsibility for support requests across the board and see through to resolution, monitoring campaign performance amongst other support duties. In addition to this you will also take responsibility for installation, configuration and management of the internal network and infrastructure including backups, systems administration and general hardware support and maintenance.
It is essential that you are already established in a similar role and will be very independent with a high level of initiative. Professional experience within a support environment is essential and so you will have some knowledge and understanding of Windows XP/NT/2000/Vista, networking and databases such as SQL. A good all-round support background is essential for this position.
Based in Middlesex - commutable from M4, Berks and West London. Approx 20mins commute from Waterloo station.
