Position: Hardware Team Leader (Hardware) Salary: £30-45,000 Location: Rochester, Kent, Gillingham, Gravesend, Basildon, Maidstone, Southend 

This is an excellent chance to join one of the UK’s leading Defence businesses operating at the forefront of global technology at one of their Design and Manufacturing facilities in the Kent area Leading a large and successful design team, you will be responsible for the delivery of specified Electronics designs meeting Technical, Cost, Schedule and Design for Test & Manufacture targets Key responsibility areas: ·Reporting to the Engineering Project Manager, you will be a key member of an integrated Engineering team. ·Responsibility for conducting regular team performance reviews and for providing appropriate development opportunities is a key part of this role. ·In addition, your role will be to ensure that the Hardware Team carry out Electronic Hardware Engineering tasks in accordance with the agreed plan to meet the agreed timescales within allocated budgets. ·You will be required to coordinate/generate detailed estimating and technical descriptions for work in progress and bids and perform presentations as part of internal review processes. ·You will also be responsible for planning and organising work for you team and regular reporting of progress including the use of earned value techniques.
