SQL Server DBA – Merseyside/Cheshire – SQL Server 2000/2005/Database/DBA – c40k

The SQL & Database team in Radius recruitment has an excellent vacancy available within a market leading UK team of SQL DBA's for a further SQL Server DBA. This is a new position and offers the right person an opportunity to join a large and still growing company with countless career progression options.
You will need to be a team player and have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with various stakeholders throughout the business levels within this role.

The main responsibilities of the role are;
•Management and ownership of all the Microsoft SQL Server Databases within the group
•QA and development of SQL Server Databases
•Database Backups & recovery with testing
•Exchange of knowledge with other SQL DBA's within the team
•1st & 2nd Line support of databases, both SQL and Oracle

The main skills required for this position include;
•SQL Server 2000/2005
•Database Administration
•Database Design
•Oracle 9i, 10g
•Relevant SQL DBA Certificate

Salary: Up to 37k + Bonus
