Working on internal company projects you will have to use your skills to balance high quality, functionality, best practice with simplicity, cost and delivery speed without practically compromising reliability and maintainability.
You will head projects within a small but highly skilled development team whilst coordinating with other areas of IT to obtain maximum benefit from the company's investment in people and technology.
You will need to be highly skilled in software development using our core technologies, C# and .NET, plus have specific expertise in at least one of our strategic Microsoft products: Commerce Server, Biztalk, Sharepoint or SQL.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience using numerous Microsoft technologies (particularly .NET in a SOA architectures) on commercial projects and have demonstrable coding skills to a high standard. Although this will primarily be C# in a Visual Studio environment, confidence within other environments such as scripting and web are also useful. Must have either testing experience or if not then have the potential to apply development skills to testing.
