Technical Vetter - IT Hardware - Support - Northampton - printer experience. My client is looking for a IT Support Engineer to work from their main offices in Northampton on a contract basis. The contract will initially last for three months, however there is scope for extension on this. The successful applicant will have excellent IT Hardware break fix knowledge. The amin job role will be to provide a quick, accurate and focused assessment of fault calls in order for the subsequent provision of service to meet the required SLA and the client’s expectations. The successful candidate will be providing an approachable, easy to deal with, technically professional service.The role requires the accurate diagnosis of fault calls to enable a resolution plan to be made and the provision of technicial support to clients and employees. The ideal candidate will have more than 3 years experience with hardware engineering, excellent printer break-fix knowledge and any manufacturers qualifications are advantageous. Good communication skills, decision making, prioritisation and customer liason skills are essential.
