Award winning market specialist has an immediate requirement for 2 Support/Helpdesk Engineers.
This role is office based, telephone support role working with clients across the UK. This is a challenging and rewarding position with excellent training and career development opportunities within a lively, friendly and highly supportive team.
The role does require you to work various shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays in addition to the daytime rota system covering the hours of 7.00am to 9.30pm. You will receive, log and investigate technical queries from clients and customers. You will be responsible for providing accurate technical solutions to queries and incidents; escalating as required to meet the agreed SLA’s, maintaining ownership of incidents logged and ensure communication with the client is maintained during the life of a call. You may undertake site visits as required to investigate specific incidents, to obtain exposure to client IT environments or to attend client service review meetings.
You will be a reliable and dedicated individual with excellent customer service and telephone skills, with previous experience in a telephone-based technical support role. Experience with Windows 2000/XP, Microsoft Office 2000/XP/2003 and Active Directory are essential. You will have a good understanding of network architectures & protocols. e.g.: TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS. Experience with Anti-virus product support, general network security and support of Citrix clients would be desirable.
