Front End Web Team Leader/Manager - Worcester - XHTML/CSS/Javascript/.NET/W3C/CMS

Our client is an industry leading blue chip organisation and they are urgently looking to add a talented and experienced Team Lead in Front End Design and Development to their growing team.

The Team Lead Web Developer/Designer will have strong commercial experience designing and developing web based applications utilising XHTML, CSS and JavaScript and will work closely with the .NET team so knowledge of .NET technologies and also Content Management Systems is highly beneficial. They will manage multiple projects across the different business units, managing stakeholders and expectations, prioritising and distributing work between the team and ensuring a high level of quality. Additionally, they will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and excellent communication skills.

Heading up the Front End Development Team includes taking ownership of sections of the website along with numerous other adhoc projects from banners to mini-sites and also new online marketing initiatives, alongside commanding a team of front end design and coding developers which will require you to be proficient in CSS, HTML and JavaScript. You will liaise with contacts from all areas within the organisation advising on design and delivery, and being flexible and organised to cope with the demands of daily work on top of larger creative projects.

The successful candidate will have a broad range of skills in Front End Development, be creative with an innovative approach to suit the ethos of the team, be able to manage multiple projects and have leadership or ideally line management experience.
